Enhancements from GX Works2 1.577 to version 1.580:

  • The following problem found in ‘Transfer Setup’ has been solved: When ‘GOT’ was selected for PLC side I/F after once selecting ‘RCPU’, the icon of Other Station Setting was not shown
  • The following problem found in Change PLC Type has been solved: In some cases, deleted device comment in changing PLC type to another one might not be deleted when changing the PLC type back to the original one.
  • The following problem found in ‘Change PLC Type’ has been solved: When PLC type was changed from L06CPU to L26CPU, device comments of D94207 onwards were deleted.
  • The following problem found in simple project (unlabelled) has been solved: In some cases, ‘TP’ might not be used as a program name.
  • The following problem has been solved: In some cases, the behaviour of GX Works2 might be unstable in executing ‘Import Library to Project’ while the Navigation window is hidden beneath other windows.
  • The following problem has been solved: In some cases, an compiling error might occur in executing ‘Build’ when a global label with which ‘K’, ‘H’ and ‘Z’, or numeric characters has been defined to the name because the system mistakenly recognized the global label as constant device e.g.)HZ1, KZ
  • The following problem has been solved: In some cases, program might unexpectedly run in executing ‘Build’ after allocating extended D/W to structure arrays whose number of element exceeded 65,536 and setting 32-bit index modification for ZZ.
  • Function has been improved in executing ‘Communication Test’ of ‘Transfer Setup’ while the connection is established via GOT transparent so that the transmission speed of serial communication is not shown in the case that a personal computer and GOT has been connected other than serial cable.
  • The following problem found in a window to select the target file for ‘Write PLC User Data’ has been solved: In some cases, all of the files might not be shown.
  • The following problem has been solved: The system showed uncompiled status after reading symbolic information from PLC while the target memories in which symbolic information and program have been stored were different and a password has been set for the program.
  • The following problem has been solved: After changing PLC type of the project including serial communication setting to the one of Q03UDECPU, the serial communication setting remained as parameters.
  • The following problem found in LCPU project has been solved: An error occurred when loading data of SD Card to a memory of Programmable Controller CPU by batch load function after writing data in which a program name including lowercase characters by ‘Write to IC Memory Card (Edit and Data Copy)’.
  • A message contents to be shown when a disconnected station is selected for CC IE Field diagnostics window has been improved so that all conditions to show the message can be described.
  • Display of CC-Link Configuration window has been improved so that ‘DEC’ can be shown for ‘Intelligent Buffer Specification (Word)’.
  • Function related to GOT Transparent connection has been improved so that communication to LCPU from GOT via iQ-R can be established.
  • Data logging name read instruction (SP.LOGNAMER) and Data logging file name adding instruction (SP.LOGNAMER) have been supported for High-speed Universal model QCPU.
  • NZ2GF2S-60IOLD8 has been supported as a slave station for CC-Link IE Field Network.
  • MELSEC iQ-F (Built-in Ethernet Function)’ has been added for the Module Type of Simple PLC Communication Setting.
  • Device comment editor has been improved so that text size can be bigger/smaller.
  • Program title which has been set in [POU] can be automatically reflected to the one of the program of [Program Setting].
  • Function related to switching mode has been improved so that all windows can be switched to read or write mode in a batch when multiple windows are opened for ladder program or SFC program.
  • Function related to online operation window has been improved so that file register is not shown as tree when ‘Memory Card (ATA)’ is selected as target memory.
  • Function related to reading symbolic information from PLC has been improved so that remaining capacity for allocate memory for Online Change can be simultaneously read.
  • Copying and pasting data between same series PLC types can be executed for the project of Q series and L series.
  • Verifying between same series PLC types can be executed for the project of Q series and L series.
