Melsec iQ-F FX5U and GOT2000\GOT Simple GS2107 inter-device communication connection setup – via TCP Ethernet
Introduction
This is quite a common request – pertaining to inter-device connection between Mitsubishi FA Products. In this case we will be covering interconnection between Melsec iQ-F FX5U and GOT2000\GOT Simple GX2107 inter-device communication connection setup – via TCP Ethernet.
The Connection setup steps are as follows;
Step 1 – Open your GT Designer 3 software. If you don’t have it, download the latest version GT Designer 3 from the Mitsubishi website.
Step 2 – Use the following Settings for GT Designer 3
- Controller Type: Melsec iQ-F
- Driver: Q17nNC, CrnD-700,Gateway
The settings should look like this:
Here are some details regarding the configuration of the GT Designer3 side settings;
(Give special attention to the specific station numbers and IP addresses – as well as the subnet mask range of the IP range.)
The network ID is the number of your network applicable. This is why your network number of the devices intended to inter-communicate must be the SAME.
The Station ID is the device number of the node in the network to inter-connect with other nodes. This is why this station ID is to be UNIQUE (to avoid conflicts.)
