Introduction
Connecting FR-Configurator to the D700 and E700 VSDs is a little different to the F700 and A700 VSDs. This document explains what parameters need to be changed.
Design Considerations
D700 and E700 VSDs have 3 points of control as shown below.
To allow PC control (using FR-Configurator) via the RJ45 port, the following parameters need to be changed in the VSD:
Parameter 122 - needs to be set to 999
Parameter 551 - needs to be set to 4
The details of these settings are shown below.
After the setting of these parameters the VSD will need resetting (power cycle) for the port function to change.
