Introduction

As mentioned earlier, the GOT-F900 series is long since being discontinued. It is not being manufactured anymore, nor sold. No parts are available, and technical support on this product has seized.
The next logical step would be to upgrade\migrate the product to the next sustainable\maintainable product.

However, since the GOT-F900 are so antiquated, that even its replacement GOT1000 model is also discontinued. (End-of-life EOL reached).

The natural migration path is as follows:

                GOT-F900 to GOT1000 to GOT2000

Each one of the models within the GOT-F900 series has an equivalent – direct transferable GOT1000 model.
Each one of the models within the GOT1000 series has an equivalent – direct transferable GOT2000 model.

The engineering software required for this migration process is GT Works3. GT Works3 contains multiple tools, one of which is GT Designer3 – which is used for the GOT HMI program migration conversion.

Assuming F940GOT-LWD-E is the model being used – and needs to be upgraded;
