Mitsubishi PLC – Dtype Device register Type Specifications
D- Type Device registers consists out of 2 types – namely the Normal Registers and the Latched Registers.
Under normal conditions, the normal registers will be used for programming variable storage purposes – whereas the Latched registers are used for retention purposes.
The Type of data being stored are Words (16Bits). Words can be combined to store double-words (32Bits). In both cases. These are allocated memory areas – which are normally used for the handling of integer values (Decimal).
The amount of Dtype registers that is available varies on the CPU used. Use the table to verify this for programming accommodation purposes.
