Introduction
FR-Configurator SW3 software is the software tool that can be used with Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation’s 700 series VSDs. This software supports many functions of which one is the test mode. Test mode allows the software to control and monitor the connected VSD. Here we explain how to access and use this test mode.
Design Considerations
FR-Configurator software is running and an inverter has been selected and connected. Go to the Tool menu and select Options. Now select the Preferences tab at the bottom and then tick the Release Test Operation selection followed by the OK button.
You can now select Navigation from the View menu and then select Test Operation as shown below.
You can now control the inverter using the REV, FWD, SET and STOP buttons as shown.
