Introduction
Network cable for Mitsubishi FA equipment is an important aspect to undersand for new users – in order to facility normal connection functions. This section is a short description in a FAQ style.of some basic (modern) communication connections and the cables\interfaces to use.
When it comes to network connections – these are generally split into two groups – being;
- Programming Connection – linking the FA device to a PC\laptop for configuration setup and programming purposes
- Communication Connection – Inter-device data transfer for monitoring and control purposes.
Also helpful to know communication cables transfer data, whereas interfaces converts communication protocols. In addition, both of these terms may be referred to as adaptors.
