I have a Melsec iQ-F FX5 PLC. How do I connect to the PLC for programming purposes?

The Melsec-iQ-F PLC comes in three flavours: FX5U (Standard), FX5UC (Compact) and FX5UJ (Junior).

The FX5U is programmed with an Ethernet cable.

The FX5UJ can be programmed with either a mini-USB or Ethernet cable.

The FX5UC is programmed with an Ethernet cable.

(Note: it is also possible to program all of the above PLCs with a predefined PLC program via the SD card memory method as well)
